Space Needle

This is the tallest building Seattle offers and is what dominates the skyline. This structure stands alone next to other American structures. This building dominated the World's Fair in 1962 and it's now a popular tourist attraction. There is a restaurant in the Space Needle that is about 500 feet in the air and rotates around in a circle. On average, entrees start at $40 and this includes a free elevator trip which can run an average of $20 per person. There is also an IMAX theater nearby as well as a laser dome that offers 6 acres of land.

Pike Place Market

This is known to be one of the city's most loved attractions. This was built in 1907 and offers a variety of things to do. This market overlooks Elliot Bay and is on 9 acres of land. This includes walkways, buildings, streets, and alleys that all are dedicated to Seattle's residents. There are over 190 businesses as well as 50 restaurants and there are 200 tables that get rented on a daily basis. There is an estimated 9 million people that come visit this market each year.

The Seattle International Film Festival is great for you movie buffs as there are 25 days of viewing films. Also, you will find 300 pieces that are being showcased and include independent filmmakers as well as directors. There is also a Marathon that is great for those looking for some fitness in their vacation. There is also a Half Marathon that you can be a part of.
